Metal Separators

Our metal separators accelerate and singulate material for accurate identification and separation. The metal sensor is a signal receiver and digital processing center, equipped with high-frequency generators and highly sensitive electromagnetic detectors. The data from these sensors is sent to a computer that classifies the signal as metal or non-metal and transfers the results to the valve control unit. The air blast unit uses short blasts of air to remove the pieces to be separated from the feed stream.
