The D-4's primary use is to feed an automobile shredder system. It is available in virtually any width and length. Although the D-4 is primarily hydraulic driven, electric is also available. It utilizes Caterpillar type D-4 Grousers, heavy chains, sprockets and rollers. It is equipped with load bars that run the length of the conveyor to limit deflection of belt under impact. The loading area is supplied with heavier duty steel for ruggedness and long lasting use. Available enhancements include: maintenance platform, scrap chute(s) and knock down curtain.
